ValiMate General
The Orion-ValiMate™ encoder is a mechanism that has the purpose to electronically program the magnetic strip of a short term ticket and stamp the information on it. Validations can deduct the entire parking fee (100%) or part of the parking fee according to requirements. All Zeag payment processing units calculate validations accordingly and the remaining parking fee amount is charged appropriately. Payment methods accepted are cash, credit card, electronic purse, or rebate tickets. All transactions and validations are rigorously registered and analyzed per account by the Zeag management systems (ZMS) for reporting and analysis.
Controls and housing
The Orion-ValiMate is a compact and stainless steel unit with an aluminium front panel and all operating controls are ergonomically designed and can be custom labeled. It is extremely user friendly and additionally all components are easy to maintain.
Desktop UCD write/read unit
The UCD is Zeag's absolute exclusive design and manufacture. It's a product of supreme quality and
was specifically engineered and developed for parking applications. It guarantees fast and smooth processing of all mag stripe mediums, from paper ticket to any ISO coded media using a single insertion slot. Advanced thermal printing technology is used for clear text printing. The optimized design of the unit and its small number of mechanical parts contributes to performance reliability and minimal maintenance requirements.
Operating Controls and Housing
A compact, stainless steel housing with an aluminum front panel affords a minimal footprint, thereby maximizing counter space. All operating controls are ergonomically designed, user-friendly and can be custom labeled. All components are easy to maintain.
Security
The method applied to encode tickets is highly secure as the segmental data blocks and error correction logic guarantees high operational precision.Fraudulent tickets are detected and rejected. The ValiMate unit is fitted with a securitylock to resist tampering and can be activated from external equipment, such as a cash
register.
