ZEAG - keeping Italian truckers on the move

Challenge Autoparco Brescia Est combines restaurant, hotel, services etc. It asked Infracom for an easy, safe, fast truck parking management system all in one intregrated solution. Solution Zeag's fully integrated OrionXR system combines reliability, security, control and payment, making parking simple and optimised to increase use profitability. Result Interfacing between ANPR and Zeag ZMS, the system handles entry/exit transits, and invoicing, reducing time and cost. It's simple, easy, secure and profitable.

Access had to be controlled through full automatic procedures, with the whole complex managed by one integrated system, including license plate recognition systems that cross-check title data (ticket, card, telepass) with vehicle data to ensure exit could only happen if the data conformed with a specific criteria check.

Web-based pre-booking had to be possible with preregistered users accessing facilites with their own Telepass. A complete invoice solution was necessary with a monthly account, including detail of each the company's drivers' transits and parking usage.

The Implementation
To achieve the highest innovation and excellence in ICT services, Autoparco Brescia Est has chosen Infracom Italia as strategic Partner. In order to attain the best results and performances, Zeag Italy was shortlisted by Infracom for the parking system implementation.

A complex truck stop and car park is the natural place for Zeag's fully-integrated Orion^XR solution. We installed 4 Entry Stations, 4 Exit Stations, 2 Automatic Pay Stations,
2 Manual Pay Stations and several validation points in each service, through the Zeag Management System (ZMS), appropriately interfaced with the license plate
recognition system, a Telepass validation system and Autoparco's management servers. That way Autoparco were able to achieve maximum security with maximum
efficency and reliability.

In the control room, operators can easily control the whole truck stop, and through ZMS they can easily see any alarms (e.g. paper low), all transactions (e.g. credit card, Telepass) and they can help customers via intercom). Additionally, through validation software installed across the different services, it's possible to manage personalized discounts for every type of request.

The results
By using the Zeag technology with Orion^XR and ZMS, Zeag installed a reliable parking system that was easy to use and maximised security for drivers and trucks. With this integrated technology, it will be possible in the near future to install systems like this across in many service stations and highway rest areas.

Thanks to Zeag, truck drivers can park easily and enjoy a secure, restful break. Companies can be sure that trucks and goods are safe, and that they are managed from
