General
The Zeag-Orion Exit Station PA works fully autonomously, or as part of a Zeag system network. Automatically activated by detecting a vehicle with the induction loop, the exit entitlement of short parking tickets, rented space, congress, bank, prepaid card, tokens and AVI tags are verified. Prepaid card, bank card and credit card users see on the high contrast display the residual value of their card or the parking charge. The integrated thermal printer is able to issue a detailed receipt. The Zeag-Orion Exit Station PA can handle up to 500 outgoing vehicles per hour.
Controls and Housing
Functional design. All the controls are laid out ergonomically. The timelessly elegant housing makes optimum use of space. Robust and corrosion-resistant. The assemblies are easy to maintain and readily accessible for easy servicing. The bright VFD display guarantees clearly legible user information even under critical lighting conditions.
UCD Write/Read Unit
The Zeag proprietary write/read unit UCD has been specially developed for parking applications. The UCD guarantees fast and smooth processing of all data mediums, from a paper ticket to a credit card, using a single insertion slot. Advanced thermal printing technology is used for clear text printing. Thanks to optimized design and the small number of mechanical parts, the device works reliably and requires practically no maintenance.
Security
The coded information is stored repeatedly on the data medium. Segmental evaluation of the data blocks and the error correction logic guarantee high operational security. Fraudulent card use and cards with false or insufficient data are detected and rejected or retained. Tickets that have not been taken by drivers are retained. All the transaction data are stored with power failure protection by means of a buffer battery.
